Apologies for a thread hijack but it saves making another rather self indulgent heading elsewhere - I bought a set of early Mk4 (Post 1976) moulded black carpets at an autojumble in 1994 which I think now are actually NOS BL but the packaging has no labelling other than an inspection label. Usual story though, they never made it into my 'R' reg Mini before it was sold on over 20 years ago and have been languishing in the loft ever since just in case another Mk4 came my way (Sure folks know how that one goes...) Is anyone here able to identify their origin from these images?

They are moulded for a square tunnel, shaped handbrake area and toe-board carpets, has cut-outs for the seat retaining rails, only one floor pad on the drivers side (Unlike modern re-pros I think), gearlever cut-out is probably for an automatic but with half 'nipped' lines possibly for the rod type manual. They were bought some years before Newton Commercial started producing their range.
