Evening all, whats it like changing the springs on the seat base and back? Im one of the rounder mini owners and have what feels like a bolt sticking dead central in my back.

It'll be tricky to pull the clips over without removing the covers.
Can confirm, like most mini jobs, blood wash shed, a decent size lump of flesh was removed. But you can replace the diaphragm and springs from under thee seat.

Do you mean the springs or the diaphragms?
Well whatever provides resistance to your butt and back.

Right Had a look, i have mini 30 seats / covers the base uses CZH3508MS i have head rests and the single central pole was what i was hitting with my back. What is it like changing both the diaphram which to me look easy with no need to remove the covers. I cant seem to find a squab diaphragm for head rests. And looks like its much more involved to change.

Would the squab be these C708
"This is the diaphragm for the seat squab, the part your back sits against on cars from 1960-93 pre headrest types with twin posts"
As i have a single pole headrest
