Do you think that's just cost him his no claims bonus too?
If that grey blob is a crumpled laminated windscreen it's too big for a Min's, but there are light coloured blobs in about the right places for an oil filter, carb and washer bottle.

Not a mini, zoomed in on the laptop and can make out a few bits that show it isnt.

Looks too tall, and I think it has those crappy vertical door handles, like you got on old Saxos. I'd say it's some generic garbage that won't be missed, you know - the sort of thing that comes vacuum packed, SsangYong/Hyundai.
