PROBLEM SOLVED in doing the follwing: This problem turned me crazy over weeks but now it is solved.

1.  Inner and outer Potjoints replaced by new ones.

2. Subframe mounts controlled and the donuts (tear drops) thrown out and replaced by new, original

ones with  highgrade steel distance shims .The terrible "clack" has gone.

3. Lower engine steady taken out, new rubbers and the little metal tubes and bought the exact

fitting Bolts for those tubes.  Important to be sure that the exhaust is not touching the floor.

4. Upper engine steady: Got a new adjustable engine stabilizer  :highfive:  with harder inserts, new

little metal tubes and  perfect fitting bolts.

I found, that if the bolts do not perfectly fit these little metal tubes in the rubber inserts then you

hear a crazy metal shuttering especially when engine idles.

I would like to thank you all for your help and hints. have a nice summer.  :mrcool:

Some days after above message, the rattle and clack startet again. :withstupid:

Now the problem is definitely solved. There are two holes in the block to hold the upper engine steady.

Now, the guy from whom I bought the SPI must have broken the longer bolt and covered the block with new red paint. So I did not see the 2nd hole.

The remainders of the bolt in the block have been taken out, the thread is perfectly oK. The adjustable upper engine steady from Huddersfield mounted.......and it is so quiet now that I can hear the CDs again. :techsupport:

Thanks for your help and ideas.
