This is a picture of the same 59DM4 that i have but with module and cables included. I think this is what i need

not sure that is the right one.

what i am running but no vac advance

 BUT i have not checked which dizzy it is but is has the same pick up that you have under that plastic cover in that pic. (Hall effect)

Thanks for the info. I have contacted many companies regarding the smaller amplifier unit / module and will wait there feedback. Seems this type of distributor is pretty rare.

dont think that is right have a look at the wiring for your dizzy.

Here's what I have - didn;t realise I still had the dizzy too - the module is easily acquired (although this set up  works fine - well  it did 20+ years ago when put in store!) the crunch item is the wiring harness...

Not sure if I still have a spare, I've the same Turbo dizzy in a box somewhere. It used to be as easy as picking apples when the scrappers were littered with dead Maestros.

 

Could also be worth asking on Turbo Minis, they used to be preferred over 65's because you could fit side entry caps and gain a bit of extra space for an inter-cooler.

 

I take it you are using it on a turbo engine, otherwise not worth the effort.

Yes it’s going to be used with turbo engine. Is a GCL 143 coil ok to use with the 59DM4? Seems so many variants of options for ignition setup.

I know this is now an old post. I would just like to thank everyone for the help with this subject. Nicklouse you were correct about the AB14 amplifier unit. This was an upgrade from standard module. I now have 1.

As far as I can tell this unit should run with DLB 105 sports coil? No other equipment required?
