Hello. Ran into a snag. I'm in the process of replacing the upper engine steady bushings on my MPI. What should be a easy job, has turned into a nightmare. Everything came out ok, replaced the bushings, and putting it all together is a pain. I'm having issues with installing the bolt that attaches the steady to the engine block. I coud swear that the longer bolt goes into the block and the shorter on the other side. Is that correct? I can get the bolt started into the block without any issue, but then it quickly becomes almost impossible to tighten any further. Of course I don't want crank on it to the point of stripping things. I've checked the workshop manual and it doesn't show the lengths. Any ideas? thx
