Hi, just interested in what sort of areas people have to carry out work on their mini’s? I am currently trying to make space in my garage, a house extensions worth of left overs and then some more junk to clear.

At the minute a single attached garage.

But in the planning strage currently ......... (planning permission granted, building control pending) .......   is a new build bungalow on a 1/2 acre site with a steel framed garage /  workshop 12 metres x 8 metres with 3.5 metre eaves rising to 4 metre peak, my ultimate "man cave" which will hopefully some day house a 2 post lift, plenty of room for storage of several cars and still leave space for working at a car and to allow under cover detailing.

I have a 12’ x 8’ shed with workbench in, a driveway but uncovered where the car is currently, I have been told it’s off bounds for any kind of structure, temporary or otherwise! A garage over the road from the house currently full of stuff (none car related crap).
Strangely although the drive is out of bounds, my better half has said I can use the conservatory 3m x 4m! Currently I am looking at how practical it would be to get the car in. Not sure she realises the potential time scale.
It’s not a strip down project (hopefully) initially hoping to get back on road then continue from there.

14'6"x16'3" concrete sectional.

I've got one car speed down being worked on and I have parts in the in laws garage and also more in our shed. Could do with more space! ?

I do admire so many of you guys who do so well in spaces not much bigger than that needed for swinging the proverbial cat and that your interest for your projects don't seem to waver.

I just make do with my 18 x 16 shed (behind the office that's being sung around)

Years back I always wanted a big shed, and now I have one, I'm not sure that it's all that it's cracked up to be. I spend half the day walking and the other half looking for where I put my glasses down.  I did have 9 Minis, a spare body shell, 3 Mokes, the Metro, the machining centre, workshop area, storage and all my work 'junk' in there, but I have managed to whittle the Minis down in recent times.

A driveway weather dependant. I want to do things but have to balance work, family and then weather. Might get a little something done tomorrow if the weather holds off. I've told myself I can't buy any more bits until I do what I have.

I think this is the biggest challenge, good work if you can successfully juggle all the limitations, that’s before progressing any project, it’s where I think I have always fell down upto now. I am currently holding off diving in at the deep end.
