It's nice, but if you don't get all that stuff off your Mini's roof I'm reporting you to the authorities.

:-)

No need to worry, that was a couple of years ago. A couple of light windsurfing boards on top of a soft mattress don’t cause any harm!

It's not about harm, it's about respect.  But it's good to hear you've already sorted it out.

That said, the only reason I've not posted a picture of my garage is that my Mini is covered in sawdust.

Getting a little more organised now, ended up with three areas, not ideal but working ok. Might be helping actually, forces me to be organised, whilst weather permits, which it does recently - the car is on the drive being stripped, I have a garage across the road which is my parts storage, trolley and engine hoist, then I have a 12x8 shed with workbench, tools etc. Would be ideal if all three was in one but total would be a triple garage at least! Work currently is weather permitting need to arrange some cover.

Single garage built 1968 so small, but I find it ok I have stored most of the mini in the loft though, plenty of room if you keep it tidy and think it through.

Mine is essentially a pergola with a hard roof...

Thinking of buying some tarp to cover the sides!

A 5m x 4m shed for the car and a 4m x 2.5m shed as a workshop. The previous occupant had put them next to each other in an "L" shape, so I ended up cutting through the walls and made a door as I was tired of walking round from one to the other!

I have looked at the tent like garages that machine mart do, anybody got any experiences with these?
It would be just for shelter on the drive to let me work, keep some draft out and let me hang lights too help!
Probably fasten it down to a wooden floor.

Just wen through a garage overhaul with my mini space - added new lighting as well as overhauled an old workbench that I built with my dad long ago.  Enen colour matched it my my mini's colours.

Also, you can check out my Classic Mini podcast (on itunes, spotify, etc) - where I talk more about my garage overhaul:
