Snap Nick! Mini + ZC31S Swift Sport in black! Great handling little sporty car!

Unfortunately the Swift is going to the recyclers when new car arrives (buy back deal, old car for new) sniff :(

PM me if you are interested in leather seats (was a dealer option, never seen them elsewhere), I'm under 4hrs away from your club location.

A driveway weather dependant. I want to do things but have to balance work, family and then weather. Might get a little something done tomorrow if the weather holds off. I've told myself I can't buy any more bits until I do what I have.

I think this is the biggest challenge, good work if you can successfully juggle all the limitations, that’s before progressing any project, it’s where I think I have always fell down upto now. I am currently holding off diving in at the deep end.

Just glad I'm not doing bodywork. I only have simple bits to do left but getting anything done just takes ages. Try and do one job at a time that way I don't get upset when I haven't achieved anything. Today seems OK I'm gonna be fitting new front cones and hilos. Old ones are already out. Just need to remove the nylon cup from the top arm and fit the rest

I have a 27’ by 7’ garage which sounds great but it doubles up as the utility space so i have sheets of polythene have way down to try and stop the dirt/dust traveling to far, so the mrs doesnt kill me! Oh and i have the leaky half as it has a near 80yr old asbestos roof on. Litrally cant wait to move house and get a proper double garage to be honest.

Mum's garage, shame it's 180 miles from where I live!

Mine looks bigger than it is, once you get a couple of cars in it - but I do like that I have the bit of extra room at the back to work on engines and such, and adding the scissor lift has really saved my old back!

16' x 8' integral garage the Mini is in there and that's where I do all the work  and a 10' x 8' shed used for storage. I find with the garage things are not to bad so long as I keep it tidy, so after every session working on the car I have to make a conscious effort to do this but well worth it long term. I have a small workbench with vice that I built myself its only 4' x 2' but I find it adequate. My priority's when setting up my small workspace were good lighting plenty of sockets including a 16amp for the welder, a fire extinguisher and plenty of shelving.

I was tired of working in a dusty uninspiring garage

I figured if it is a nice place to be then, I will spend more time in it. So I did this:

Then I also have  the messy one with the tools

Tell them to get all that worthless rubbish to the tip!

It's such a rare commodity to have the space to tinker like that, it always amazes me how much worthless rubbish gets allowed into the best bit of the house.
