Hi all,
Trying to get my Spi cooper fired up after a year of resto (engine out etc) but the fuel pump wont prime and I'm not getting a spark. so here is what I have found so far.
Ignition on, disarm immobiliser with fob, red light goes out. (Engine will now turn over)
Remover cover of relay pack located on brake servo. Manually shut fuel relay, fuel pump sounds and fuel gets to injectors.
Checked resistance across crankshaft sensor approx 1400 ohms. When I check resistance ECU plug end (blue and purple wire), still approx 1400.
At coil pack, getting 12v at both +ve and -ve sides. But no HT on crank and no spark.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Spi No Spark, No Fuel Pump Noise.
