Hi, trying to get my pickup sorted in time for this year's shows, and have been trying to sort the drivers side floor out, initially not realising quite how bad the floor is. The crossmember has rotted away along the front edge, and the rear parts beneath the load bed are in quite a bad way, some parts of rot spreading to the base of the exhaust tunnel. I have already replaced the front drivers footwell. My questions are, if I decided to replace the whole drivers side floor from front to rear;

1. Am I best off repairing the crossmember first, so it acts as a brace?

2. Will I need any additional bracing, or will it be okay without, as sills, inner sills etc are all good?

Currently she is sat at around a 45 degree angle, drivers side up in the air. But she's a complete car, subframes, engine etc. Would like to keep her in tact if possible.

Alex
