I'm going to be using AN6 fittings for my braided hoses and I've never used them before for this application.

My question is, ill be using this for the hard lines on top of the petrol tank:

and this one for the braided lines:

https://www.ebay.co....PwAAMXQVERS66v4

my question is, how do they fit together?

have i got to buy another fitting i.e. male to male?

thanks and sorry for the stupid question but can't find a simple answer :P

:D

The red end is where the hose goes and the blue end screws onto thr fitting on the tank or the end of the metal pipe.

The red end goes onto the hose abit like a brake pipe fitting. But make sure you fit them on there well. I used to use masking tape around the braid to give it a clean cut.

so it will look like this:

Ill add this, do not buy cheap hose off the bay for fuel, most of it rots out using unleaded petrol.

i may of come across asking the wrong question, i mean, If i am buying each of those item, i.e. for the hardline of the fuel tank and the braided fuel hose itself to be connected together, do i need a male to male thread to go between both of those AN fittings

I suppose you would then. Especially if they are both female fittings. I used to use JJC rally.
