An interesting 8-page article with photos by Bill Bell & Rainier de Klark on 'The Mini Prototypes' is featured in the anniversary 'bookazine' Mini - Celebrating 60 Years just published.

When the Mini was launched, in the Chichester Morriis BMC agency show room window, they lined up a Morris Oxford, a Morris Minor, a Mini disguised with a Morris Minor shaped bonnet AND the new Mini in the front of the window.

On about the third day, apparently, some Wag managed to smuggle in a board with "Noddy Car", and leave it on the Mimi bonnet.
