Hi everybody,

i'm looking for changing my mini tyres and also the wheels. I have a 1983 mini 1000 wayfair and now i have mounted 145 sr 10 wheel.

Can i mount wider and also larger wheels and tyres?

Thanks

yes you can , what you want is a softer compound tyre , soft rubber softer the better so it sticks to the road expensive but good ,wear out a lot quicker ….

would not bother the bigger ya get the worse it will handle, fact 13" are the worst.12 are for looks not driving ...

10" wider arches

12" wider arches sprayed + spacer on rear + wheel studs?? + nuts???

13" wider arches spayed + spacers on rear may be front + steering rack to stop wheels rubbing when on lock + wheel studs + nuts + both front wings cut to make room for tyres ...

honestly, my 13" wheels don't feel bad on the road, the only thing is railroading and following the road.. as for grip with good tyres I could pick a wheel up round roundabouts.

That being said I am changing to 10's lol, want the look.

When you go to 10" you will immediately notice how much more 'friendly' the car feels, especially when 'pressing on'.

The deeper sidewalls help the suspension and the tyre width is better as well.
