I chose this Mini 30 for a friend and recommissioned for him, all at my cost by the way,

when I was over half way through the works sadly due to an unforeseen change of circumstances!

he pulled out of the deal, the result being I am now offering it for sale, as most on here will know

I already own a rare Oyler Contessa! and have no need for another classic car.

The Mini 30 has been prepared to a high standard and has a new MOT and ready to drive away,

I didn't as requested by the prospective owner post a build thread on it, but as I have posted 2 other

build threads on here I think it speaks for itself the standard of work done, I have some stage photos

available, although this one did not need any major work doing, having in the past had 2 proper sills

and a drivers door skin fitted, and little bit of welding done at the lower inner flitch.

Fantastic original car Frank. I expect it will be snapped up if people see the quality of your work on the Contessa.

As most people know! the build date of a car and the Registration Date can be different ,

my Contessa was built June 76 and registered 07/01/78.

Quite a lot of cars sit about dealers pounds ect .

Out of interest! your not related to the Lightbody family suppliers of Body repair shop materials

and equipment, just looked at your user name.

I've seen quite a few H reg 30s over the years, this one was registered on 13 August 1990, so likely held back for a H plate, when it changed on 1 August.

An H reg mini 30 is unusual, most were registered a year before this one.

I have shown the pictures to "Her-inside", but she stamped her foot and said "no more, you have got enough".
