For those of you that haven't hear about the famous run please visit the Italian Job website: http://www.italianjob.com

The run raises money for the NCH: http://www.nch.org.uk which I belive is an extreamly worthy charity!

If you have any questions about the run just post them up!

Charlie

p.s. If your interested in doing this event next time there is one big restriction:

Can anybody participate in the event?

Yes provided the driver is a minimum of 21years old and the co-driver 19 years old. Both must have a valid driving licence and be willing to raise as much money as possible in aid of the supported Charities

The rules and regulations can be seen here: Italina Job Questions and Answers

since i won't be doing the run, how can we as forum members sponsor you to raise your fundraising target?

i think it is a good way to get involvedand encourage all other forum members to sponsor CharlieBrown and his brother.

the web-site shows buying lotto tickets and recycling empty ink jet cartridges (printer), and I am willing to do both.

C'mon TMF!! lets help them raise thier goal of £1500 and help out!!!

Now thats the kind of post I like to see!!!

Yes I will be getting lotto tickets and I will hopefully be selling them at Mini in the Park.

The Tickets are only £1.

The prizes are:

1st: Brand New Mini Cooper - 2004 Spec. (Its not a proper mini but sell it and get 2 proper coopers!!!  )

2nd: 7 Nights hoilday at the Molino Rosso Hotel, Imola

3rd: Return ferry crossing for a car and 4 people (Channel presumably)

4th: Hamper of Italian wines and food

5th: Hamper of Italian wines and food

If anyone would like a lotto ticket and wont be going to Mini in the Park and would like 5 or more tickets then please let me know and I can post them to you.

If you only want 1 or 2 tickets then if you send me a stamped self addressed envelope then I can sent you the tickets. (PM me if you want to do this)

This year it is from the 28th October - 6th November.

But the run is so popular that registration for next year has already started!! and this year was full months ago.

The run takes place between the 28th of October and the 6th of November this year.

The start of the Italian Job is in Imola (Bologna) approximately 900 miles from Calais. The finish is Brighton where the black tie Gala Dinner & award presentations also take place.

Highlights of the run are a day at the F1 track at Imola, a few laps of the FIAT factory roof (just like the film) and navigational rallies

:D
