Fuel Pump Disaster

What about getting a small flexible magnetic tool and going 'fishing' carefully in the area you can access through the fuel pump hole?

Yeah, that is also an option!  I now have my boroscope, so i'll how i get on with that. But if that doesnt work, then i'll give it (and anything else) a go!

SUCCESS! Flexible magnetic tool!!!!  gave up all hope, then just before going in, i gave it one last try.  Managed to get right into the sump,  moved it around a bit, then bingo!  Very Very happy

i actually shouted out "WOOHOOO" in my garage! I was so happy, i cracked open a beer!

 

On to fitting an electronic fuel pump!

Have you done your forensics and matched it up to the pump? It could be a bit of a preceding one  :P

haha, the first thing i did. yes it matched up!

so glad i dont have to pull the engine

the one right at the back :shifty: .  The fuel pump hole!  i was taking the dizzy off to try that hole, but decided to try one last time, and bingo!
