Just done a set of compression tests on my Wife's 1330 prior to removing the lump to change the gearbox, so looking to see if I need to do anything else while it's out.

Done about 1200 miles since rebuild after rebore.

Cylinders             1 220.   2 205.  3 200.   4 235.

drop of oil added 1  235.   2 215.   3  230.   4  255.

I was trying to establish if the oil rings were not sealing as the engine puts out a puff of blue on occasion.

Do I have a headgasket problem between 2 & 3cylinders as they are down from 1 & 4?

Any comments would be welcome.

Evo 001 cam and MG Metro head plus HIF44 with BDL.

Engine warm, all plugs out, distributor lead off and throttle wide open.
