What's people's thinking on the best products these days? Is it still waxoyl or has that been superceded by something better? Thanks

Dinitrol is far more pleasant to use than waxoyl.  I haven't tried the newer products but I get the impression from reading on here and elsewhere that they are even better.

Dinitrol and Ardrox are the main products we use in Civil Aviation and i know from experience they are really good.

Some of them are used in a two layer application, so one acting as sacrificial whilst the other layer remains untouched. Still needs to reapplied as per the Maintenance Planning schedule but this can be years in between.

Just done mine with a combination of Dinitrol MT, 3125HS and 4941. With some RC900 on some small slight rust bits. Will tell you how it works in a few years! For the floor I went with Gravitex stone chip which has gone on really well.

I like the way it has gone on but I put the 4941 on a bit thick in some places and it hasn’t dried off as much as I would have liked - still a bit sticky.

I’ve not used it but there was an interesting promo article in this week’s car mechanic mag, the product is called T40 and is a Canadian product by a company called Krown. Check out krown.co.uk

Hard have nothing to do with them, but saw it earlier in the week.
