As others have said on here. The current look is nice. IMO if you fancy a change I loved my MK2 in a tweed grey, black roof and bonnet number plate. Old school retro look

You should definitely go for a black bonnet, black bonnets are cool. Mr Bean had a black bonnet and that man's a gangsta (OG)

I like surf blue with a black roof, I did a pickup in this about 15 years agoi and it looked great.

I pulled the trigger on my build and decided on a color.  It was sprayed about 3 weeks ago and it's just now starting to be put back together.

Snowberry White and Island Blue.  Originally the car was a really pale light blue (Speedwell blue?)

 

Should hopefully have it back at the house by the end of the week.  Those wheels are coming off and I'm going to replace them with some 4.5 MiniLite's so they fit the wheel wells better. More like a vintage spec racer style.

Lovely colour, my dad had a mk1 mini traveller in the late 70's early 80's in island blue, first car I got to drive.
