Hi there,

I'm new here and to classic mini ownership but I've wanted one for some time now and have recently picked up this Mk3 Cooper S replica. This forum, along with many other specialist forum are a wealth of knowledge, so I look forward to digging into it.

Thanks,

Will

Well that's how late model Minis should have always looked in my opinion.  They always looked right like that.  Trying to make them look modern didn't really work.  Has the interior had similar treatment?

Welcome. That's a tidy looking Mini. The styling is spot on.

Thanks! Yes, it has a similar period interior. I'm sure someone will be able to tell how 'period correct' it really is haha. I don't have many photos of the car but here is a couple of interior shots.

Thanks! Yes it's had a similar conversion on the interior as well, although I'm sure someone else can comment on the accuracy of the 'period-correctness'.

It only needs to be period correct if you want it to be period correct.

I'm not fussed at all haha! I just like the simplicity of the earlier minis.

It only needs to be period correct if you want it to be period correct.

Not quite. It was built here in the UK, converted to a MK3 replica and then shipped to Japan. It has been imported back into the UK mid last year.

Is that a jdm mini?

So it was registered in the UK first? It's an awesome looking gem anyway.
