Has anyone installed one of these-how do you like it?

I did try one and took it back off within the hour.

I found with the cotton reel mounts, they are too soft for the spring pressure of these.

The idea is sound, but a much more solid mounting of the shifter is needed - that's what lead me to the splined mounts that I made. I may yet try is again at some point now I have this.

Any pictures of the splined mounts? I was also curious about this gear lever bias thing.

I don't really see the point with just 4 gears.

I am fitting the Bias Spring this weekend, all being well. I will let you know how it feels afterwards.
Whilst I appreciate that the Mini only has four gears, I am hoping that the Bias Spring will help eliminate some of the vagueness in my shifts!

I fitted the Bias Spring yesterday and my immediate feeling is that the feel of the gear changes has improved. I must add though, that I have not tried on the road yet, clutch issues have put paid to that. I will let you know more when I get the car on the road, that may be a couple of weeks though.
