Which is the correct order for installing the headlining, A Pillar trim and dash rail trim on a ‘65 Elf?
I was about to fit the dash rail vinyl then realised there probably is a correct order in which to do this.
I’m guessing Dash Rails first followed by the headlining and finally the A Post trims, but I have been known to be wrong!
How is the headlining finished on the B pillars?
I also have 2 bits of vinyl I’m not sure where they go. It is obvious the large bit is for the top rail and the medium sized bits for the A pillar trims, it is the smaller bits that have me confused.

I have searched the forum but cannot find anywhere which suggests which order.

I have not yet covered the dash rails, and still am not sure in which order to do this.

any advice would be gratefully received.

On my 67 elf the dash rail vinyl and headlining have been fitted before the A-post finishing trim which overlaps slightly at either end.

Hi
I don't know if it's similar but on my mk 3 I did the A pillars first and took it below the dash top line and the top above the line of the windscreen, do the dash top next and then the headlining. At the A and B pillar the lining folds under its self in the straightest line to the windows tops. I used evo contact adhesive it's a bit fiddly and check both sides look the same. Check the glue doesn't react with the paint (it's a long process if it does that's from experience)
The pics aren't very good as the low light shadows make it look creased but it's actually all flat
