I have an update, the car is not the 1978 clubby that the plate on the door was registered to, it was a true "round nose" 1983 mayfair the owner converted to a clubman front end. I am working on getting build pictures of it at the moment which will hopefully show good craftsmanship in the conversion and if there were any major areas of rust patched when the conversion was done. The body look clean from the pictures I've been sent, there are only a few minor areas of concern which would not be a big problem to patch. The major problem areas look good from what I have seen.

Amazing what can be achieved with fibreglass nowadays lol j/king but buyer beware
