Hi. Im in the process of converting to fit mk1 rear lamps on my 86 Mayfair. Regards a reversing lamp can anyone confirm is this a legal requirement to have one or not??
I’d prefer not having one but if it is a requirement then presumably it is fitted under the bumper opposite side to fog light?

All the info can be found on the MOT test pages. Of the top of may head any car registered after 82 needs reversing and fog. But go check I may be wrong.

I've got MK2 rear lamps on my 1976 - guess they are the originals. I dont have a rear fog lamp either - the Mot place always have to look it up.
