Just discovered an oil leak coming from this sensor in the front just above the starter motor. Any one know what its called or what does it do?

thanks

Best to upgrade to either a 22psi light or a guage.

Cool thanks for response.

Whats the advantage of a 22psi light or gauge?

I was just planning to do a straight swap for an oem one. Seen a few on ebay for around £5.

Something else to fret over.

Just fit a standard Switch in, that'll be fine ;D

The standard switch operates at such low pressure that if it comes on it tells you your engine has just been knackered. Hopefully 22psi is enough to keep your bearings from disintegrating. A (mechanical) gauge is more like cardiograph, showing pressure fluctuations as they happen so you can deduce the cause.
