"SAIC Motor, the parent company and owner of the MG brand, has announced what it calls “a global operational review” of its manufacturing facilities in the face of a growing slump in demand in its home markets of China and Asia. A total of around 230 jobs are to go at the SAIC Motor Technical Centre. Does this spell the final end for automotive research and development at Longbridge?"

I thought they'd already pulled out of the UK market to be honest, did they even operate any dealerships??

Don't remember ever seeing one.
