Wiring up new rear loom

Purple and pink wire in the boot - thought it may have been for the boot security switch ? But I dont know.


This new loom has 2 wires branching out of the loom under the passenger seat both are purple and white - anyone know what theyre for ? My idea would be seatbelt warning lights ? Not fitted on my car but maybe the loom has them ?

There are also 3 wires around the rear inertial reel fitting in the n/s bin ? Again im assuming seatbelt related?

Ive also got a white wire and white and black wire in the instrument cluster region - cant see what theyre for?

Finally next to the rear loom and main loom connection plug i have another plug on the main loom - it has 3 wires brown, black and a black and white. Any idea what this is for?

Sorry for all these questions but these are the final few wires to sort and im done !!

Purple and White should be for the interior light switch in the doors.

White and Black is for the tachometer if the car has one - present regardless of a 2 or 3 clock setup.

Black/White and Black sounds like the brake test circuit switch.

What colours are the wires in the bins?

The two purple and white should be the door switches and if the three wires are purple/orange , purple/white and  black then thats the interior light.

Do you have a wire at your interior light?

I have a separate set of wires for the interior light thats sorted.

The wires in the bins black, purple and orange and i think purple and white.

Brake test is wired already ?

Purple / Orange, Purple / White and Black are your interior light - live feed, ground and then the switches in parallel for the doors.

What colours do you have going to the interior light if these are not running up the pilar?

What colours do you have going to your brake master cylinder cap?
