i got to the point where cheap hydraulic brake light switches kept letting me down, i found a different option. Using Goodridge banjo hoses there is an option to use a motorbike brake light switch. Go for the 3/8 short unf option on a single line system into the master cylinder or servo.

* will need additional wiring to interface with standard harness

Or you could try to convert to a later non hydraulic switch, like I have done...
