My beautiful 1998 Rover Mini Cooper was stolen in Bristol last night (16th May 2019). It was BR Green at the time of theft. I guess it is already being resprayed. It is, however, quite easily spottable because it has recently been restored with a new heritage shell and has thick anti-rust treatment on underside. Please be suspicious if offered for sale a late mini with unusually good body work. I know realistically I am unlikely to find him but am devastated as have had him for 20 years.

That's the second stolen in Bristol in as many weeks. Someone must be doing the rounds. Let's hope it gets found. Don't know what I'd do if mine was stolen.

Oh Dear

I will keep an eye out here in brighton for anything suspiciously similar  offered for sale locally  or to local club members

With the L2B this weekend - it might be offered at the show so heres hoping it can be seen

Hi - thanks so much for replies. it's R905 NKV. He's BR Green with white roof but no bonnet stripes. 4 spots on front. Also, there is a kill switch in the boot under the washer bottle  - even if they take it out, traces of it should show up. Interesting to know that it's not just mine - there are at least 2 more minis living within a mile of me - will warn owners.

Thanks - yes, suspicious it's gone just in time for show and rally season. Was looking forward to 60th celebrations.

Castration is too good for thieves.
