Just returned from 150 mile trip. No issues. Just got home parked out side, 10 minutes returned to put in the garage., won’t start. 10 minutes later starts but stalls when clutch is let out, starts same again. Now won’t start. I’ve put a direct feed to the pump and pump runs but car won’t start. Inertia switch seems ok if a bit old. Could this be a throttle switch issue and what does it do anyway?

Help greatly appreciated.

Start with the basics - as if it weren’t an SPi.

Do you have a spark?
Fuel getting through? (Remove air filter and look down the SPi unit whilst an assistant turns the key)

All vac lines ok? What is the optic of the spark plugs? Gasoline tank clean? What about the gas filter?

It must be s.th. which happened when the engine cooled down. Maybe flooded with gas?
