Anyone see it? Check it out on ITV hub if not. At Thruxton supporting the BTCC.

Seen them a few times at Brands but seeing on live TV was great! Good commentary and coverage.

I don't usually watch the support races, but I'm glad I did this time. I think the Mini's gave better entertainment than the banger race that was the BTCC's last race.

Yeah it was a good watch I've recorded it too :)

I normally watch the 3 races and do something else during the support races.

Oh well that was most of Sunday gone!

Porsche, Renault, Ginetta pay £1000s to be on the TOCA package. BMW are paying next year to have JCW Mini Challange supporting. It's all about money.
What manufacturer will pay for 7/Miglia to be on it? They supported F3/British GT on the Dunlop Powertour about 20 years ago when the club was run a lot better.

Its a good point, I was hoping mr.Gow would see the value of improving the product by putting it on even if it were a 'loss leader' so to speak. Perhaps 3 rounds in a season maybe?

 

Also, it would give a lot of coverage for the headline sponser (mini spares, minisport , however etc.) so that potentially could be attractive?

 

The feedback on all forms of media has been universally positive so it seems a shame to miss a trick so to speak....

It certainly is, Mini racing is like most of the racing at Goodwood, far more entertaining than all the modern stuff that I've lost all interest in these days.

Thanks, I've just watched it.  I was trying to watch ITV hub through the Sky box and only got highlights but online, no problem.
