Not sure how that makes a circuit then.

One connection could have snapped off, it happened to me.

I think he must mean the rules are stricter in Belgium and not that parts would stop moving.
Can you elaborate?Not having that working would leave you stranded with a seized car over here.
That's why I was asking ... re: Belgium.
Its a mandatory item on all cars (if fired from factory).Because its a safety critical it has to be working or the car gets seized/forced to fix it
