Ok I asked a few questions on here and Facebook and got a rough idea on how to make an internal gear linkage so gave it a go

 

Its not finished yet but it works

 

I did buy a KAD bracket, but did buy Uj's off ebay, some straight bar also got a scrap turn buckle from work so it can be adjusted (left right hand thread.

 

Also wire locked it in place 

 

Still have to finish fixing it in place but happy with it so far cost £60 plus the quick shift

 

just waiting on my KAD quick shift

Good effort. This is the next modification for my car. I’ll be making my own as well. Is your engine solid mounted or are you just using lots of steadies?

The rod to the housing should be as short as possible. And I think you will need to double the thickness of the alloy.

Why reduce the side loads on the bushes, and seen others fail.
