I want to clean the catalyst out as it only just passed its MOT on emissions.

Yes, used it in a wide variety of different cars and it will help emissions.
What Catalyst have you fitted? Genuine Rover or aftermarket?

Yes - it got my SPI under the limit having failed the first time around. Although it did seem to need a couple of days to work. i.e. don’t drop it in a couple of hours before the MOT and expect it to work. As an aside euro car parts seem expensive - Halfords have it at £16 a bottle.

Buy via the euro car parts e-bay store for £13:99 or they have various multibuys available which lower the price further.
