Hey everyone - I've been tinkering with minis since I brought my first in 1990. I only sold that to buy another min in '94 which I had reshelled 15 years ago. Never owned anything since other than paying for the family cars for my wife!
Surf Blue at Giltbrook have always looked after Pad for me and have been absolute stars for all of these years but they've now closed their doors after Daps, the owner became ill.
Can anyone recommend a good garage around Derby who understands older cars and doesn't think it's ok to use the floor as a jacking point? (That did happen to me with an unnamed garage many years ago).
I've noticed the Derby mini centre but although their facebook images shows a real min out front and a sportspack on the lift, they seem to be more focused on BMW half series.
Any recommendations would be great.
