I'm still agonising over which cam followers to purchase.  I've been strongly recommended to look at Isky and APT followers as the only really good ones available now.

1.  I can't find Isky followers for Minis on their site.  I can find cams but not followers.  Is it just me?

2.  Have any of you recently fitted followers from the UK which are still currently available and have had them do say 50,000 miles with no problems on setups with stronger than standard valve springs?

...a little amusing.

I think it was Isky items mentioned in a thread on the same subject a few weeks ago. When I went looking I could only find USA stockist, good to know there are some in the UK.

I always use the Kent CF95 cam followers and so does my brother who builds race winning mini engines.

Never had any issues with them.  They are made by one of the best cam manufacturers and Kent Cams also make Swiftunes cams too!

APT ones have some interesting specs:

Super Duty Chilled Iron Lifter, 'A' & 'B' Series, Oil Hole To Empty Follower & Lube Lobe, Manganese Phosphate Coated, Rockwell C 63 Face Hardness, 43 Grams, All Cams. Side Oil Hole Helps Drop Oil On The Lobe, And Empties Lifter. Original OEM # 2A13

Sounds good but what do I know?  Expensive at well over £100 with shipping.

I just want to avoid this:  http://www.theminifo...else/?p=3538259

Anyone know where to find Isky ones on their site?

Not just me then.  Seems strange when they list cams, springs, retainers and pushrods for the A series.

No point in them making their own, if someone else's are as good.

Don't forget Isky is an US company so their local market is fairly limited for older UK imports. And the cost of shipping will probably put most UK buyers off ..
