Hi all,

Just trying to brace my shell. It has the drivers door step/post removed as well as the drivers floor. This was like this prior to my ownership.

I’m wanting to brace the shell and ensure is ‘square’ to install a new half floor, door step, crossmember and a post etc.

The question is, can someone please help with length dimensions and where they have welded the brace bars. Images would be a great help too. This to ensure correct placement of bracing along with the dimensions. This should hopefully enable me to weld the sills, door steps, crossmember all in the right places.

Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

not really the way to do it.

you need the shell dimensions and set what you have to those datums and measurements and then when that is all true then brace it.

the info can be found on here but I can post it later. you need both the vertical infos and the plan infos. IIRC both can also be found in your Haynes manual.
