On another note, will I have to keep the cat? I assume that its necessary to pass the MOT?

You will, and it is!

Looks like im hanging onto that one then! Out of interest, why are cat delete pipes sold? Just so people can swap them out for the cat each year for the MOT and get improvements (???) the rest of the year?

The best one is the one you have just fit it correctly maybe changing the clamps to better ones.

But if things have been over tightened and distorted then the tubes will need to be made round again.

The Minisport one looks like it is basically the same.

If you are going to be paying someone to fit it get them to suggest one as they will know it and fit it right.

For me any Maniflow or MiniSpares RC40 range.

To be honest I'd just rather get it done properly and know that it's going to work as it should all the time. I was looking at this;

https://www.maniflow...56&product=1088 for the headers

in conjunction with this;

https://www.maniflow...00&product=1247 for the rest of the system

and then this fitting kit;?

https://www.maniflow...ct&product=1224

Is there anything else that i'd need, doesn't look quite long enough like that...

Thanks

so who is going to fit it?

I'll either try and do it myself with the limited tools that I have or have messaged Andy at ML Motorsport and am waiting for a reply.

Then I would try yourself with the one fitted or ask Andy to either replace it with one he would fit.

Do you mean try and fix the one I currently have or try and fit the new one then take it to Andy if I can't?
