Hi guys. Anyone on here ever use the EZ oil drain valve on their Mini and if so what do you think of them and what size did you use. There are other brand names too, but just used this one as an example. I have one on my R56 and like it but dont have one on my 1990 classic Mini. Pro's Con's. Thanks

Pro:   easy to drain your oil

 

Con:  easy for someone else to drain your oil for a laugh

You will need to take the plug out anyway to remove all the lumps of gearbox and bearings in the sump

I like the idea on a modern car or something with a sump guard. But on a standard mini it seems quite exposed...
If you want quick easy oil changes maybe an oil extractor? One of them pump things
