A Solution, Not A Problem-O/s/f Brake Hose

I was replacing the OSF brake hose and could not get the banjo assembly back without knocking off the lower copper washer.

After flirting with some fairly radical ideas, I had an idea.

I slipped a grommet over the exposed section of the brake hose, creating a lip into which I could drop the washer, preventing it being knocked by the banjo bolt.

I did it all up in less than a minute.

I hope this helps someone.

Hope you used new copper washers or annealed the old ones as it will be sure to leak if you didn't.

Your clevis pins need a bit of attention too looking at them pictures of the lower

Yes, new copper washers used. I am not the sort of person to gamble on safety related issues.
