Hi guys,

Almost at the conclusion of my exhaust hunting journey... I am taking the car to Andy at ML Motorsport next week and was just finalising what parts I need to order before hand when I came across two differences in the mounting kits. I was planning on doing the whole order off mini sport as it comes out reasonably cheaper than straight from maniflow however maniflow sell this fitting kit;

for an injection kit, of which my car is (1998 MPI) but mini sport don't, only mentioning this kit;

Will the kit from maniflow work and the mini sport one not or will they both work just with different mounting points?

Just of note, I am going for 1 7/8'' kit as Andy suggested that it wouldn't matter between 1 3/4'' and 1 7/8'' however the 1 3/4'' kit doesn't seem to be sold with the cat link pipe (as it is here - https://www.minispor...abs_description)

Oh, even on a 1275? Andy seemed to think otherwise... in that case do you know where I can get a cat link to the muffler as at the moment I think I don't have a choice but to use the 1 7/8''

I think the MiniSport fitting kit you quote is for a non injection car - Maniflow part numbers seem to have an ‘I’ at the end for injection parts. Worth checking but it doesn’t look like it has the rubber hanger at the front of the subframe.

On the cat link pipe - what you show is a cat back system?
