Hi all,

Anyone used one of these http://www.avonbar-r...nic-with-Vacuum ???
My engine won’t be a 20+ psi fire breather so could be a good option for me.

Thoughts as an option other then programable ignitions

Thanks
Chris

Not far off the price of programmable. It was common to just limit the advance by putting dabs of weld on the mechanism and filing them back to the required angle as stops.

Dizzys are clockwork technology and will always be a compromise. Figure how much you’ve spent on your engine and ask yourself if spending another few hundred pounds to go programmable is a sound investment.....

...and deduct what you could save on fuel, or replacing melted pistons.
