Have a 6 wheel hustler with a metro engine and 10 inch wheels.Goes ok but speedo is behaving like a rev counter on coke.I assume the wheels are wrong size for the diff. What is the easiest way to do this change diff or gearbox or wheels.
Also fuel gauge reads half tank full empty doesn't matter have no idea how much fuel is in it.
Hope someone can clear this up for me
Thanks.

It isn't clear what the speedo is doing wrong the way you've described it.

Hi it fluctuates between 0 and 90 irrespective of speed.

They do that when they get worn out.  You may need to have the speedo overhauled.

Sometimes if the cables are old they can do strange things so probably worth looking at the first.

If the inner part of the cable breaks the two parts rub together randomly causing the speedo needle to bounce up and down.

Am I right in thinking the hustler doesn't use a mini petrol tank and sender?

The tank is custom made but the sender looks to be mini.
