Hi all,

I was thinking of putting a fuel shut off valve before an in-line filter and a non return one way valve after the inline filter to isolate the filter for cleaning.

All immediately after the tank before the metal pipe up to the front of the car.

Will it be ok flow wise or will there be too many restrictions for the mechanical fuel pump of my 998 to handle????

Tia,

Graham

You could if you want but that’s a lot of unnecessary clutter under the car.

All you really need is a hose from the tank to the filter and another hose to the metal pipe that runs under the car.

When it’s maintenance time get yourself a pair of these to clamp off the hose of either side of the filter before you remove it.

Keep it simple.

You should fit a filter between the tank and the hardline you just don’t need any valves or doohickeys.

Just get a hose clamp or two. Job done and you can use them on other cars.
