Some right hand drive cars which have the indicator on the right hand side.

There was also I big green button I had to keep pressing. And the odometer was in Kms.

We're you in Japan by any chance?

I went on holiday there last year and hired a car. I used to own an original k10 micra which had the indicators on the right. Knowing this was a Japanese thing when I got in the car I thought "right, remember the indicators are on the right". 10 yards later when pulling onto the main road I proceeded to put wipers on.

After two weeks when I got back, I had the reverse problem when I went back to driving my civic.

My 1980 mini and all other minis I had before that have/had indicators on the right  but my iother mini (1991) and all other cars in the household on the left

I don't have any problem in the right hand mini or the left hand modern cars but when I drive the left hand mini I always use the right (wipers) because I'm in a mini....

by the way what is the big green button for ?

The "big green button" has a bulb inside it, which flashes in time with the indicators, Lol.

I have to hit it when the car tells me or when I think the car should have told me to.
