The engine steady bar from DSN needs two holes in the block.. But my SPI does only show one hole!??

Has anybody an idea if one or two  wholes is correct? My car is a LHD.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

If it's this one: http://www.dsnclassi...ort-adjustable/

I'm sure it just uses the standard bolts on the clutch end of the block.

Do you have any photographs of your engine?

All blocks have two mounting holes for the engine stabilizer bar on the clutch end.

Thanks for your help. I have found the second missing hole. The pre-owner must have broken the longer bolt in the block and must have painted over the second hole so I could not see it.

I drilled the reminders out and mounted the adjustable engine steady. It is now all done and I am happy that the rattle stopped and the engine is now quiet.

I have never experienced such an "easy and invisible" thing with such an amount of work.
