Hi All

I was checking section J of the MSA yearbook and I noted that you need to keep the tyres within the bodywork, is that the same with earlier period cars? I wasn't sure from reading the text, my Mamba's make the tyres stick out of the GTM body by about an inch. I have some Dunlop D1's to replace if necessary, but would prefer to keep the Mamba's.

Anybody have an idea?

Thhe best thing to do is to get the name and number of an RAC MSA scrutineer, preferably one who lives near to you.
Ask him for advice.

This is interesting. Looking closely at the appendix k racers they run rosepetals and they some how manage to fit well within the arch. I run rosepetals and can't for the life of me get them to sit as far in as they do. Almost If they run a less wide track

If remember rightly from researching rose petals, don't the racers run them with the spacer/shim removed? Minispares site says that sometimes the brake calipers need machining with this set-up, but it must bring the wheels inboard slightly.

I went for 'S' offset (+32) Minilite replicas to keep things inside the bodywork in the end, but would love some Rose Petals further down the line.

That's correct they got the block where the bleed nipple on the caliper sits. The racers I have seen still run the spacer as do I but they still sit more inside the body than I can ever get them.
