Hi , bought the material from Huddersfield spares but not sure how this will work ... do you apply new material onto existing  leather ?

The top pad had a foam back to it underneath leather on original .

Anyone had a go at this ?  Any advise appreciated.

Hi
I managed to remove old vinyl off the top rail foam without damaging it too much. It had a couple of holes from previous owners damage. It's really important to fill these holes before relaying the new vinyl otherwise they will show when you relay it. I filled the holes in the foam with a little bit of polyfiler would you believe and it looks flat and feels fine. You could also fill damage on the foam with that spray can expanding foam as well.
