There is a short 15 minute old film on 'Talking Pictures' tv channel at 8.15pm tonight on Sky 328, Virgin 445 or 81 on Freeview , about the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally:-

 

"Feel the excitement build and meet the star drivers of 1965. Follow the journey through each country to the finish line and watch the win for B.M.C.'s Mini-Cooper S under very tough conditions."

Thank you. Really enjoyable. I remember this and the 1966 one (boo hiss!).
It was what got me interested in cars, minis, engineering and becoming an Ausin apprentice at Longbridge.
Also subsequently rallying!
not to forget Paddy's 1964 win and the car on Saturday Night at the London Palladium.
